Daniel Tibbetts, DMD
A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Daniel Tibbetts graduated from Salesianum High School in 2004. He continued his education at University of Delaware, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences, graduating in 2007. Dr. Tibbetts was offered an academic scholarship to attend University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2011. While at University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Tibbetts was one of the few students invited to practice in the Honors and Medically Complex Clinics. Upon graduation, he was presented with the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for excellence in clinical dentistry.
Dr. Tibbetts decided to further his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Virtua Hospital in New Jersey. While at Virtua, Dr. Tibbetts received advanced training in endodontics, implantology, and emergency dentistry, and provided comprehensive care to patients of all ages in the Camden, NJ community.
Dr. Tibbetts has spent the last several years practicing at University of Pennsylvania’s Faculty Practice in University City and in private practice in Old City, Philadelphia. He is committed to continuing his education and staying current with the latest advances in Dentistry. Dr. Tibbetts is a Preferred Invisalign Provider and is proficient in CEREC restorations utilizing CAD/CAM technology. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
Dr. Tibbetts lives in Ardmore, PA with his wife, Kathleen, and three children, Dylan, Madeline, and Owen. He enjoys running, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
