We understand that a trip to the dentist can be stressful and even frightening. With this in mind, our staff goes above and beyond to make our clients feel welcome and relaxed as soon as they enter our office. At Williamsburg Dental, dentistry is our passion, but service is our obsession. We will make sure that you understand everything about your treatment recommendations and the procedures you undergo, answering any questions you have along the way.

Comfortable Dental Care in our Broomall, PA Dentist Office

We know that it may be difficult for some patients to visit the dentist due to a negative experience or a fear of painful dental procedures. To help combat fear and anxiety, our dental office provides patients with oral conscious sedation and intravenous (IV) sedation. Sedation dentistry relaxes patients and ensures that dental procedures go smoothly.

We will often recommend sedation for patients who experience dental anxiety or who fear dental procedures. With dental sedation, patients feel relaxed and calm. They may even fall asleep during their procedure. Sedation dentistry is a treatment method that is safe to use and is also helpful for lengthier, more complex procedures.

At Williamsburg Dental, our dental professionals make it their mission to create a warm and welcoming space for all patients. Alleviating dental fear and anxiety is an integral part of that mission. Our team aims to help patients get the care they need and feel comfortable at the dentist to continue to maintain their oral health.

Dental Technology

Our dental office uses the latest in modern dental technology to diagnose and treat our patients:

CT Scan

The benefits of CT scanning to patients are many – CT scans provide more information to the dental care team than can be obtained using conventional dental x-rays. CT scans provide a greater level of detail in imagery, and can also provide superior image detail about bone and gum tissue. This leads to an earlier, more accurate diagnosis of conditions that may result in much more serious conditions in the future.

The level of radiation used in a digital CT scan is very low, and no radiation remains in a patient’s body after a CT scan, which means a safer, better examination for you.

Ask us about CT scanning on your next visit – we may be able to diagnose impending conditions before they result in loss of teeth, bone, or gum tissue.

iTero Scanner

This technology takes 3-D digital impressions of the teeth. We use this scanner to create orthodontics, dental bridges, dentures, and other custom appliances. Unlike more traditional impressions that use messy putty, digital impressions offer faster, more comfortable, and more precise impressions.

Digital X-rays

We use digital radiography or modern x-rays, which are a safer alternative to traditional x-rays. They reduce the level of radiation required to capture detailed images of the smile. With digital x-rays, we can instantly display and save images of the teeth and gums. In addition, we can plan orthodontic, restorative, and endodontic treatments.

Rotary Instrumentation

We use an electric rotary handpiece to perform root canals. This handpiece prepares the main root canal using a strong, nickel-titanium file. It can reach the inside of the canal without damaging the tooth. With rotary endodontics, we perform safer and more efficient root canals.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are small, handheld cameras that may be used to display high-definition images of the mouth on computer monitors. These cameras are an important aspect of patient education. We can use them to discuss oral health problems and treatment options with our patients. Our team can also take photographs of the mouth and save them to each patient’s chart.
