Invisalign Treatment
For the most precise fit, we begin treatment by taking impressions of the teeth. We send these impressions to a dental lab, where they create your custom Invisalign aligners. Invisalign aligners fit similarly to a mouthguard and cover the upper and lower teeth.
Once they are complete, we will make sure that your first pair of aligners fit comfortably. Every 2 weeks, you will switch out your aligners for a new set. Each set of aligners is slightly different and will shift the teeth into a straighter position. Invisalign treatment typically takes 9 to 18 months to complete.
Six Month Smiles®
Six Month Smiles uses clear braces to realign the smile. It also has many of the same advantages as Invisalign treatment. Six Month Smiles uses clear brackets and tooth-colored wires placed in the smile line, or the teeth visible when you smile.
This orthodontic solution solely focuses on the appearance of these teeth, so treatment usually takes six months, or about half of the time of traditional braces. With Six Month Smiles, patients do not need to worry about caring for their aligners. We recommend Six Month Smiles for patients who do not have serious orthodontic needs but want to straighten the teeth in their smile line.

How do I care for my Invisalign aligners?
Remove your aligners to eat, brush, and floss. Do not wear your aligners if you are drinking anything other than water, as this can stain your aligners. When you do not have the aligners on, keep them in their case so they do not become damaged.
Why should I straighten my teeth with Invisalign?
Invisalign offers multiple benefits for patients. Because Invisalign aligners are removable, it allows patients to brush, floss, and eat without restrictions. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign aligners do not irritate or poke at the gums. Invisalign offers a more comfortable and discreet way to realign the bite.
How many times a day can you take Invisalign out?
Each day, aligners must be worn for at least 22 hours. This suggests that you can only remove them for a total of two hours per day. You can remove aligners as many times per day as you like so long as you wear them for the full 22 hours.
What if you skip a day of Invisalign?
Ideally, you shouldn’t ever miss a day of wearing your trays. If you miss one day, it might not have a significant impact on how well your treatment goes. The main problem is that it can become convenient to miss more than just one day. Too many tray skips may cause the treatment track to alter.
Is it okay to wash Invisalign with dish soap?
