What Is a Root Canal?

Endodontics, or root canal therapy, is a necessary treatment to remove the infected or inflamed tooth pulp, clean the area, and fill the cleaned spaces with a special material to completely seal off these tooth chambers. Your mouth will be numbed during the procedure, and if you’re fearful of root canals, we can put your mind at ease with dental sedation.
