Alejandro Montalvo, DMD

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Montalvo graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1999. After working a few years in the Boston area, he went on to do his dental training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and graduated Cum Laude in 2008.

During dental school, Dr. Montalvo completed externships at the Brookside Community Health Center and the Massachusetts General Hospital in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department and received advanced training in endodontic treatment strategies. In addition, he conducted research on platelet biology in the lab of Dr. Joseph Italiano at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Montalvo relocated to the Philadelphia area to pursue his dental career. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Temple University, and most recently served as the Vice President of Dental Affairs at Community Volunteers in Medicine in West Chester, PA.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Chester/Delaware County Dental Society. He is delighted to reside in the Philadelphia area because he is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, though he still maintains an unshakeable love for the New York Knicks.
