With this in mind, our staff goes above and beyond to make our clients feel welcome and relaxed as soon as they enter our office. Comfortable Dental Care in our Broomall, PA Dentist Office
We know that it may be difficult for some patients to visit the dentist due to a negative experience or a fear of painful dental procedures. To help combat fear and anxiety, our dental office provides patients with oral conscious sedation and intravenous (IV) sedation. Sedation dentistry relaxes patients and ensures that dental procedures go smoothly. We will often recommend sedation for patients who experience dental anxiety or who fear dental procedures. With dental sedation, patients feel relaxed and calm. They may even fall asleep during their procedure.
Sedation dentistry is a treatment method that is safe to use and is also helpful for lengthier, more complex procedures. At Williamsburg Dental, our dental professionals make it their mission to create a warm and welcoming space for all patients. Alleviating dental fear and anxiety is an integral part of that mission. Our team aims to help patients get the care they need and feel comfortable at the dentist to continue to maintain their oral health.
Our dental office uses the latest in modern dental technology to diagnose and treat our patients:
This technology takes 3-D digital impressions of the teeth. We use this scanner to create orthodontics, dental bridges, dentures, and other custom appliances. Unlike more traditional impressions that use messy putty, digital impressions offer faster, more comfortable, and more precise impressions.
We use digital radiography or modern x-rays, which are a safer alternative to traditional x-rays. They reduce the level of radiation required to capture detailed images of the smile. With digital x-rays, we can instantly display and save images of the teeth and gums. In addition, we can plan orthodontic, restorative, and endodontic treatments.
We use an electric rotary handpiece to perform root canals. This handpiece prepares the main root canal using a strong, nickel-titanium file. It can reach the inside of the canal without damaging the tooth. With rotary endodontics, we perform safer and more efficient root canals.
We use diode lasers to contour the gums, remove cold sores, and eliminate infected gum tissue. Laser dentistry offers a safe and comfortable treatment alternative to traditional gum surgery. In addition, dental lasers minimize bleeding by sealing the blood vessels. Lasers also provide precise, painless care for our patients.
Intraoral cameras are small, handheld cameras that may be used to display high-definition images of the mouth on computer monitors. These cameras are an important aspect of patient education. We can use them to discuss oral health problems and treatment options with our patients. Our team can also take photographs of the mouth and save them to each patient’s chart.
