Unique Cosmetic Offerings

In addition to traditional cosmetic dentistry services like porcelain veneers, we offer Botox and dermal fillers. When you think of getting Botox or facial fillers, your dentist may not be the first thing you think of. However, dentists are uniquely qualified to provide these precise treatments.

Throughout their schooling, dentists focus on the musculoskeletal structure of the face. They learn how the muscles and bones work together to create movement. Dentists are also experienced in providing precise treatment in hard-to-reach areas. You can feel confident that dentists will target the exact area you request.

Botox works by paralyzing muscles so that they no longer contract. The muscles relax, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles on your face. But we can use Botox for things other than cosmetics. Since it relaxes muscles, it can help relieve pain and tension caused by TMJ disorders. Treatment with Botox usually lasts about six months, making it convenient to get when you’re in our office for bi-annual visits.

We use the longest-lasting dermal fillers in our office. If you have a beautiful smile, why not accentuate it to show it off? Dermal fillers bring back that youthful fullness to your face. As we get older, we lose collagen. Fillers help replace it and fill out the shape of your face.

Relax With Sedation Dentistry

We want to ensure that each patient in our office has a relaxing, comfortable experience. Sedation dentistry can help achieve that. Though primarily used for patients with dental fear, it can benefit other patients, too.

We offer both oral conscious sedation and IV sedation at our office. We prescribe oral sedation in pill form for you to take before you come in for your appointment. It takes some time to kick in and wear off, so you’ll need a ride to and from your appointment. You won’t be put fully to sleep but will probably not remember much of the procedure and may fall asleep during treatment.

IV sedation is the deepest form of sedation we offer. We work with a local anesthesiologist to monitor your vitals and ensure the experience goes smoothly. You’ll also need a ride to and from your appointment with this sedation. While it isn’t administered until you’re in the office, it does take a while to wear off.

Sedation is primarily used for patients that have dental fear and anxiety. Sedation enables them to get the regular dental care they need. It can also assist patients with movement disorders or a severe gag reflex. It relaxes these movements, making treatment more comfortable for both the dentist and the patient.
